RedRice/sunflower contamination event driving cleaning effort
Commodity handling held up despite a costly contamination event
Wheat, sunflower and maize-readiness all beat or met plan, but a rice/sunflower cross-contamination event of ~11,000 MT dominated the quarter — driving cleaning cost, a rice-throughput shortfall and an open commercial claim. Yard rehabilitation (95% potholes repaired) and maize-season readiness (98%) are near complete.
